Kleboniškiai is a one-street village in Radviliškis district in the Daugyvenė Landscape Reserve. The village has 18 hectares covering Rural Life Museum, which was established in 1989. There is an acting windmill which was built in Kleboniškiai in 1884.
Kleboniškiai village is described as one of the best preserved street-type villages in the mid Lithuania. Currently the village of Kleboniškiai has 28 buildings: 3 farmhouses with 10 buildings are the property of the rural population, and all the rest belong to the rural life museum. The typical rural buildings of the 19th and 20th centuries: houses, granaries, bathhouses, barns, sheds were moved to the open-air museum from surroundings. In addition to the inhabitable buildings of Kleboniškiai former thatched farmhouses are restored. The museum expositions have restored farmers’ life in the end of the 19th century. They also contain a large collection of ancient technology.
